It allows you to stay in Australia temporarily while your permanent Partner visa application is being processed.

  • Visa subclass 300, also known as the fiancé visa, is designed for individuals who are engaged to an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen and wish to get married in Australia. It allows you to stay in Australia for up to 9 months while your Partner visa application is being processed.

  • Visa subclass 309 is designed for individuals who are married to or in a de facto relationship with an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen and wish to migrate to Australia. It allows you to stay in Australia temporarily while your permanent Partner visa application is being processed.

  • Visa subclass 461 is designed for eligible New Zealand citizens who wish to migrate to Australia with their partner or spouse who is not a New Zealand citizen. It allows you to stay in Australia for up to 5 years and work or study during your stay. This visa can be renewed.
